Q:  WHAT MAKES BUYOUTDOORFURNITUREONLINE DIFFERENT THAN OTHER FURNITURE STORES OR INTERNET RETAILERS?

A:  There are two ways to compare us to competition.  First, compare us to your local furniture store.  Because we are an internet retailer, the primary benefit we enjoy vs. a typical ‘brick & mortar’ retailer is the depth of our selection.  Where your local shop is able to carry several choices in each furniture category. 

Secondly, we should be compared to other internet furniture retailers.  We work every day to find ways to stand head-and-shoulders above our competitors.  We do this with our outstanding team, whom we consider the best and brightest in the industry.  Our 76,000 s.f. Dallas, TX Fulfillment Center allows us to carry a deep inventory, enabling us to quickly ship most orders.  Control over production of our many exclusive products allows us to control the quality of the product and how it is packaged for shipping nation-wide.  Our excellent Home Delivery partners provide you with an outstanding delivery experience.   And finally, should any sort of problem occur with your shipment, our team of in-house Customer Service Professionals will assist you in quickly resolving your issue.  



Q:  DO YOU CARRY INVENTORY IN YOUR OWN WAREHOUSE OR IS YOUR MERCHANDISE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER?

A:  The answer is – both.  There are many items where the low-cost supply chain model is for us to import and stock a broad inventory in our warehouse.  We typically store over 8,000 pieces of furniture in our Dallas Fulfillment Center.  For other products, it makes more sense to ship to the consumer directly from the manufacturer.  In this model, you may benefit from reduced transportation and storage costs.  We can proudly say that the vast majority of what we sell is in our building – just a few feet from where I’m sitting now. 

Does everybody do it this way?  No, but they certainly would if they could.  Most internet retailers do not have a warehouse, nor do they have the means to own inventory.  While their model works in some cases, it can often lead to significant lead times and higher product cost.  It can also lead to lack of control over important aspects of quality, packaging, and how your freight is handled as it is loaded for shipping.  At BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline, most of our inventory is stored in our Dallas Fulfillment Center.  We understand that there is some science to an efficient and low-cost supply chain. 



Q:  ARE THERE MORE MERCHANDISE OPTIONS AVAILABLE THAN THOSE SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE?

A:  Yes, in many instances. One of the benefits of shopping online for furniture is our ability to offer a wider selection of products than your local furniture store. Q:  CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE AN ITEM FOR ME?

A:  Not usually, although there are some exceptions. We purchase or manufacture our merchandise in quantity and then package it for shipping. We cannot increase or decrease the size of tables, beds etc. There are some instances where, if noted, we can change leathers, cushions, etc., but in most circumstances we are unable to customize.  Please feel free to contact us if you are not sure.



Q:  IS MY SHOPPING TRANSACTION SECURE?

Q:  WHEN DOES MY CREDIT CARD GET CHARGED?

A:  Your credit card is NOT charged (unless paid via PayPal or some check cards) until the merchandise is ready for carrier pick up.



Q:  DO YOU OFFER ANY LAYAWAY PLANS?

A:  Yes we do. Please contact us for more details as we are always adding new ways to make your shopping more convenient. Our layaway plan includes no set up fees, 20% down, up to 6 monthly payments and a 10% cancellation fee. On all layaway orders, if no payments are made after 6 months, all payments will be forfeited and the items ordered will be released.

Q:  HOW LONG ARE SPECIALS AND SALES AVAILABLE?

A:  While most specials and sales are advertised to be available until the end of the current week, many items are one-time buys and are valid ‘while supplies last’.  All specials and sales are evaluated on daily basis.  BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline reserves the right to withdraw and / or change any special or sale at any time.



Q:  WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OPTIONS?

A: At BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline, we ship your order utilizing the safest and most dependable furniture transit method possible via our outstanding Home Delivery partners. 

Basic Home Delivery Service

Basic Home Delivery’ service is BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline’s most economical home delivery option.  Once your shipment has prepared for final transport, a home delivery specialist will contact you to schedule a time and date for delivery.  Uniformed delivery associates will deliver your boxed merchandise, and place it in the first dry area of your home or garage.   

White Glove Delivery

‘White Glove’ service is BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline’s premium delivery option, and is available on all orders.  When selected, a home delivery specialist will contact you to schedule a time and date for delivery of your merchandise upon its arrival in your area.  A two-man team of uniformed delivery technicians will carefully unpack your merchandise and provide basic assembly in the room of your choice.  Once the set-up is complete, the delivery team will remove all packaging and debris.

Q:  HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

A:  We understand that you are eager to receive your beautiful new furniture, but we feel protecting your investment is just as important.  For this reason, we have established partnerships with the best nation-wide furniture home delivery carriers.  While your freight moves through their network, rest assured that your furniture is being handled with extreme care!

Most items are stocked in our warehouse and are shipped within 2-3 days of ordering.  Some items are shipped directly to you from the manufacturer.  Either way, once an item is put on the truck, delivery usually takes from 10-15 business days. However, please allow up to 4-6 weeks since some items may be on backorder or must be ordered specifically for you.  Transit times are not guaranteed.  Although we make every attempt to deliver your furniture correctly and on-time, accidents and delays do sometimes happen.  Please use caution when scheduling home improvement (scheduled plumbers, contractors, etc.).  It is recommended that you schedule such professionals after receiving and inspecting your new furniture.  Should an unexpected error occur on our part, we will work with you to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Q:  WHAT IS "QUICK SHIP"?

A:  Quick Ship items are in stock in our warehouse and typically ship within 2-3 business days.



Q:  WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN MY ORDER ARRIVES?

Q:  IF I DON’T LIKE MY FURNITURE, MAY I RETURN IT?

Q:  DOES MY FURNITURE COME WITH A WARRANTY?

A:  We are very proud of our product offering and we intend to stand behind it. Q:  WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED?

A:  We work hard to make your on-line shopping experience pleasurable and trouble free. We know that you are excited about receiving your new furniture and we work hard to insure it reaches you in perfect condition. Q:  WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE SHIPPING INSURANCE?

A:  Freight companies insure all items for an average amount of $1.59 per lb. If your merchandise exceeds this value it is strongly recommended that you purchase actual value insurance.  Please note that unless you purchase optional supplemental insurance (1.5% of purchase price) you will be responsible for filing any claims and collecting from the freight company directly. You must note any damage on the driver's delivery ticket at the time of delivery; otherwise the carrier may not accept the claim. Unless Supplemental Insurance is purchased, BuyOutdoorFurnitureOnline has no liability for the merchandise once it leaves our docks. If your merchandise needs to be replaced, you would pay for a new item and then collect from the freight company. Although damage occurs very rarely WE HIGHLY SUGGEST SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE.



Q:  DO YOU SHIP TO ALASKA OR HAWAII?

Q:  CAN I HAVE MY FURNITURE SHIPPED TO AN INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION?

A:  Yes.  We routinely ship our furniture into Canada. We work hard to ensure your international shopping experience is pleasurable and trouble free. This includes seamlessly crossing the border, processing applicable duties and taxes, and home delivery by one of our well established shipping partners.  For information on shipments to Canada, please click here.
